THERAPY & EXECUTIVE FUNCTIONING SUPPORT

EXECUTIVE FUNCTIONING SUPPORT
Executive functioning (EF) skills include time management, maintaining a schedule, beginning and completing tasks, remaining focused, staying organized, and prioritizing. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for ADHD targets these skills while also identifying the emotions and thinking patterns that often hinder an individual's productivity. Dr. Haddad works with children, teens, and adults. When working with children and adolescents, parents are an integral part of treatment. Treatment can be short or long term, depending on the client's specific concerns. Common reasons individuals seek EF support include: students are having difficulty managing assignments, completing long term projects, and studying for tests; adults are struggling to be efficient at work; parents are having difficulty managing multiple roles.

COGNITIVE BEHAVIORAL THERAPY
Cognitive and Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is collaborative and goal-oriented, focusing on the relationship between one's thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Clients are taught strategies to challenge unhelpful thoughts, cope with difficult emotions, and develop new patterns of behavior. Dr. Haddad have an expertise in treating children, teens, and young adults experiencing anxiety, sadness, and/or social skill challenges. Collaboration with parents is an integral part of treatment.
